I'm a 12 year old boy,almost 13,who lives in the middle of nowhere.My mom is a workaholic, as she never quits cleaning and re-arranging our house.Her and my dad are divorced,they separated when i was about 6.My dad lives in Newcomerstown.He does his best to make everyone happy.He used to be an alcoholic,but he has been with AA for over a year.My brother,who is 24,lives in Cincinatti.He is a computer genius.He can fix laptops and desktops,and even put desktops together.My parents hardly know a thing about computers,but gave birth to two boys who know alot about them.My stepdad,who is a trucker,is in his 50's.He is color blind.He is usually grouchy when he gets home.I have two cats and two dogs.The cats are Sierra and Zoey,the dogs are Hope and Hooch.My favorite color is silver,as the only two colors you can blend to get it are white and black.My favorite food is a double cheeseburger plain (bun,2 slices of american cheese,and 2 100% beef patties) from burger king.The marine animal that would describe me is a seahorse.I constantly move,and for being in 7th grade,rather small.
In order to adapt to their cold,dark environment,marine plants and animals must do many things.
ANIMALS
Some saltwater fish have no eyes,as there is no light to see with deep down.Those who do have eyes have a natural light that they use to see in the abyssal zone.
Most animals (fish) in the marine biome have gills.
Many fish can change sex during their lives.
Some fish have sharp teeth to help them catch prey,others have sleek bodies to help them outswim and catch prey.
PLANTS
Deep saltwater plants use chemosynthesis instead of photosynthesis due to low amounts of sunlight
Some marine plants are poisonous to help them to not be eaten.
To avoid being crushed by the massive pressure creature by water,dark zone plants must have a rigid structure.
Many photoplankton and other small plant organisms have almost the same water content in their tissue as the water around them,so they don't use as much energy for water balance.
CLIMATE
In the marine biome there are two zones, the lighted zone and the dark zone.
In the lighted zone,sunlight is available for plants to use for photosynthesis.
In the dark zone,plants must use chemosynthesis instead of photosynthesis due to very low or even no sunlight.
These zones have many different names and can also be divided into many different sub-zones.
The salinity of the water and the amount of sunlight determine what can live where.
In the mighty land of Mode, there was Sir Mean, Queen Median, King Range. Each of them owned a part of the land, an area in square miles equal to the letters in their name, and the mathematical problem of their name. This number was then multiplied by 100. Sir Mean held 825 square miles of Mode, Queen Median held 900 square miles of land, and King Range controlled 1,700 square miles of the land. The expression on Sir Means face was similar to that of King Ranges face. The vast amount of land Range had compared to Median was so large, you could see the difference of her and Range 500 miles away.
Range and Median’s 14 year old boy, Circum, had a girlfriend named Ference. Later on in life, they would have two children and they would be called the Circum-Ference Family. Their two children’s names were Radius and Diam. Radius was small, but Diam was tall, as well as a big eater. Radius had only one friend. His name was Pi.
Pi got his name from an accident he had made in 2nd grade. He was writing an essay for chocolate pie, and forgot to add the E to the word pie, every time. He earned the nickname Pi because of that accident, and the fact he has gone out with 3 girls, and only partially gone out with another. They didn’t go out with each other, but they still partially liked each other. Pi’s father was Sir Mean and Lady Volume. (She was loud and fat, I’m not saying anything else.)
Sir Mean became friends with Range one day when he was escorting his child, Pi, to Range’s house to play with Radius. He had a problem which he couldn’t solve. His wife had an illness, Cone’s Disease. Her nose became like Pinocchio, long, with a sharp point at the end. He found a paper on the ground with the following text on it: YOU WILL FIND YOUR ANSWERS
IN A ROOM FULL OF DANCERS Sir Mean could only think of one place that met this criteria. The Golden Sphere was holding a ball that night, which would be full of dancers. He decided to go to the ball that night, hoping to find an answer. A dancer by the name of Lad y Su approached him and slipped him a piece of paper with the writing on it: UPON BREAKING THE DISH YOU SHALL FIND YOUR WISH
Out of frustration, Sir Mean swung his right fist at a shelf full of expensive china. The expensive plates crashed to the ground, and all broke except one. He picked it up, and smashed it with the hilt of his sword. A flat stone was inside, with engraved words on it. He sighed, wondering how much more odd this could get. GRASP YOUR WIFE BRING HER TO THE TEMPLE OF LIFE LOCATED AT THE DRAGON’S KNIFE
He had been there before. He hated it. It was called the dragons knife for a reason. The area was scorching hot, and if you didn’t wear steel plated boots, your feet would hit sharp, needle-like cones on the ground.
He got his wife onto his horse, then mounted himself, and traveled to the Dragon’s Knife. He found a set of stones, lain out in the pattern of a circle. In the middle of that circle were 4 mounds of dirt. Carefully, he descended from his horse, and slowly brushed away the dirt. He found nothing. He looked back at Lady Volume, whose nose was still long an pointed. Sir Mean sighed, and a tear fell from his eye. It hit one pile of dirt, and the dirt changed color completely. He was astonished, but he was thinking at the same time. “Hey honey, come here!”, he shouts. His wife scoops up a pile of the new dirt, and with a scowl on her face, ate the dirt. Her nose instantaneously began to shrink!
